Give generously

Believers in the G-d of Avraham Ya'akov and Yitzchak should be known for their generosity. Not for their stinginess. God has been so generous with us, He has bestowed unmerited favor upon us. He meets our every need and even gives us things in life for our own pleasure. The Lord is generous to us, He wants us to be generous in return so that His love and provision may be seen through us.

1) Genesis 14:19-20 “And he blessed him and said, “Blessed be Abram by God Most High, Possessor of heaven and earth; and blessed be God Most High, who has delivered your enemies into your hand!” And Abram gave him a tenth of everything.”

2) Genesis 28:20-22 “Then Jacob made a vow, saying, ‘If God will be with me and will keep me in this way that I go, and will give me bread to eat and clothing to wear so that I come again to my father’s house in peace, then the Lord shall be my God, and this stone, which I have set up for a pillar, shall be God’s house. And of all that you give me I will give a full tenth to you.”

3) Malachi 3:10 “Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, so that there may be food in My house, and test Me now in this,” says the LORD of hosts, “if I will not open for you the windows of heaven and pour out for you a blessing until it overflows.”
